T pessary
Material: Medical grade silicone with a medical nylon string for retraction.
Types : There are 2 types of T Pessaries. Type R and Type B. Both are used to treat women showing symptoms of cystocele, rectocele, urtherocele and those showing symptoms of stress incontinence.
The cylindrical shape re-positions the bladder and the urethra back to its natural anatomical correct position.
A cystocele occurs when the wall between the bladder and vagina becomes too weak to support the bladder and the bladder partially descends into the vagina. Often due to this complete emptying of the bladder becomes very difficult. In some cases, the patient is also subject to stress incontinence.
The T-Pessary can be inserted and removed easily. The different sizes allow best individual adjustment. The specially designed surface avoids pressure points in the mucosa. Especially during exercise - such as heavy work or sport - the T-pessary will support bladder and bowel wall.
T Pessary Type B has dimples which create tiny suctions on the vaginal wall.
T Pessary Type R has ridges and these aid better with a weaker pelvic floor where the patient is unable to retain tampons.
